Aaron Rodgers Surprises Annie

For Immediate Release

AARON RODGERS SURPRISES ANNIE

Delafield, Wis., September 21, 2014 – Gold In September® (G9) announces Annie Bartosz, G9 founder, is featured in the first episode of season 3 of itsAaron, a public service campaign that creates awareness for organizations and people who are changing the world.

The itsAaron episode features Aaron Rodgers, quarterback of the Green Bay Packers.  Rodgers developed a relationship with Jack, Bartosz’s twin brother, through the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) before Jack passed away in 2012.

Bartosz and Rodgers rang doorbells and talked with people about pediatric cancer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Bartosz inspires people to not only donate but to also hold their own fundraisers and raise awareness.

Bartosz said, “There’s no one foundation that unites every hospital and organization and we need something that unites everything under gold.  Everyone focuses on the 80% for 5-year survival, but Jack was part of that and I want to focus on the overall survival, not just the 5-year survival.  It needs to be one hundred percent.”

G9 focuses on the great need to increase public awareness of childhood cancer, the leading cause of disease related death in children in the United States. Bartosz is determined to turn the world gold (the national color for childhood cancer awareness) in September (national childhood cancer awareness month).
